Job Summary: The Data Processing position will provide administrative support for the capture and transfer of information for storage, processing or transmitting.   • Reporting positive Coliform and/or E. Coli results to the client, consultant, and regulatory agency as appropriate.
  • Filing various documentation in the appropriate client files
  • Prepare data entry – including ensuring that client numbers are correct on field sheets and that there is an analysis indicated and accurately entering into Element.
  • If new client, enter new client information into Element.
  • Create labels from Element for samples and provide labels to sample receiving.
  • Inventories and submits requests for supplies applicable to task(s) as needed.
  • All personnel are responsible for complying with all quality and data integrity policies and procedures that are relevant to their area of responsibility.
  • Additional training may be added specific to the tasks or functions the employee is specifically assigned.
  • Attend outside training as necessary.
  • May assist or cover duties typically performed by other Data Processors, cutting, labeling, weighing, sample receiving, send outs, etc. for the Lab.
  • During our slower times, willingness to assist in a number of areas will be essential to maintain full-time hours.
  • Other duties as assigned and qualified for, as determined by management.

Job Description: We are currently seeking a Plant Worker to ensure all waste is unloaded from vehicles, the vehicles are decontaminated, and waste is properly staged for scanning and processing. The individual will perform the duties in a safe and productive manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Unload waste from incoming vehicles. Separates non-autoclavable waste to be incinerated.
• Stage waste on conveyor system or properly stack waste for scanning in the Biotrack system.
• Scan waste into the Biotrack system for proper recordkeeping purposes.
• Load autoclave bins or incinerator hopper with waste for processing.
• Place re-usable containers on tub wash line for decontamination.
• Operates tub wash unit ensuring the wash unit is operating properly. Removes clean tubs from wash unit, inspects tubs and stacks for loading onto assigned vehicle for re-use.
• Operates tub wash sprayer for oversized reusable tubs ensuring the unit is operating properly. Inspects tubs and stacks for loading onto assigned vehicle for re-use.
• Decontaminates vehicles cargo-carrying portion, reloads assigned re-usable tubs and ensures cargo-carrying portion of vehicle does not have free liquid on the floor. Informs plant supervisor the vehicle is ready to be moved from dock area.
• Ensures housekeeping issues, e.g., spills cleaned up, floor is dry, and debris not on floor, etc., are addressed immediately.
• Assists in other areas of the plant operation as directed.

  • Present key ideas to management on process improvements that would enhance the quality and safety of products
  • Help create and implement QC processes/procedures for evaluating and receiving food components from suppliers
  • Help investigate customer complaint issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Responsible for training and development of all plant employees regarding policies, procedures, and GMPs
  • Directly oversee the work of QA Technicians, Sanitation workers, two Crew Leaders, and have indirect supervision over the distribution team
  • Create work schedules for QA and Sanitation staff, manage overtime, handle time off requests, ADP management, resolve disputes, conduct interviews, assist in hiring decisions, and safety/illness reports
  • Ensures that all product files are kept up to date on each product and programs
  • Identify workplace safety hazards and develop ideas and solutions to correct promptly
  • Manage daily sanitation and pest control activities
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Make recommendations for improving food quality to management in order to reduce customer complaints
