GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. This role will focus heavily on troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, alongside the creation of work instructions and training materials. You will collaborate closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and resolve issues with electromechanical systems using systematic troubleshooting techniques and commonly used electrical tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Must be able to read and interpret electrical diagrams.

• Install and configure advanced electromechanical systems according to specifications and schematics.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on complex machinery and equipment, documenting all findings and actions taken.

• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair processes.

• Train junior technicians and team members on troubleshooting techniques, best practices, and the operation of electromechanical systems.

• Conduct tests on systems to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards, making necessary adjustments as required.

• Maintain accurate device history records in accordance with ISO 13485

• Work closely with engineers on the customer side to address issues, discuss design for manufacturability, and provide insights based on troubleshooting findings.

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electromechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, with experience in PLCs, robotics, and control systems.
  • Experience in creating clear, concise work instructions and training materials.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and diagnostic tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively train others and interact with team members and clients

Job Summary:

A brake press operator operates machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications. They are responsible for setting up the press brake, loading materials, monitoring the bending process, and inspecting the finished products for quality and accuracy. They also perform routine maintenance on the machine and ensure a clean work area. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow safety guidelines
  • Follow standard work instructions as assigned
  • Perform hands-on tasks
  • Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Experience with CNC, a plus
  • Routine maintenance checks
  • Ensure product meets customer specifications
  • Meet production standards
  • Work in a team environment
  • Accurate recordkeeping and quality documentation
  • Inspection of product
  • Set up and operation of machinery

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up the press brake: This includes selecting the appropriate tooling, determining the working tonnage, and programming the machine if it’s a CNC press brake.
  • Loading and unloading materials: Ensuring proper positioning and alignment of sheet metal within the press brake.
  • Operating the press brake: Monitoring the bending process and making adjustments as needed to achieve the desired shape and angle.
  • Inspecting finished products: Checking for accuracy, defects, and adherence to specifications. Performing routine maintenance: Keeping the press brake clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Identifying and addressing issues that arise during the bending process. Adhering to safety regulations: Following all safety protocols and procedures within the manufacturing facility.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Operating Spot Welding Machines: Using a punch press or other spot welding equipment to join metal sheets. 
       
    • Setting Up and Calibrating Equipment: Ensuring the spot welding machine is properly calibrated for the specific materials and desired weld strength. 
       
    • Applying Electrodes: Precisely placing electrodes on the metal sheets to create the spot welds. 
       
    • Maintaining Tools and Equipment: Keeping the spot welding machine and other related tools in good working order. 
       
    • Quality Control: Inspecting welds for proper penetration and adherence to quality standards. 
       
    • Following Safety Procedures: Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). 
       
    • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving any issues with the spot welding equipment or the welding process. 
       
    • Preparing Work Area: Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
