Job Summary:
A Production Team Leader oversees daily production activities to ensure targets for volume, cost, waste, and quality are met. They lead and supervise a team, coordinate work schedules, and address production issues to maximize efficiency and maintain standards. They also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and Supervising: Lead and motivate a team of employees, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

Production Management:Monitor production processes, identify and address issues, and implement solutions to maintain efficiency and quality.

Safety and Quality:Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the production process.

Process Improvement:Identify areas for improvement in production processes, equipment, and working conditions.

Training and Development:Train new team members, mentor existing staff, and provide ongoing support to enhance skills.

Coordination and Communication:Liaise with other departments, such as planning, engineering, and quality control, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Performance Management:Track key performance indicators, evaluate team performance, and provide feedback to improve productivity.
