Job Summary As an entry level Production Technician will support the production department by assisting the senior level operators. Duties include learning company quality standard by understanding how to check for defects and hourly checks of the machine. Entry technician will review the quality process and should be able to identify quality issues with oversight from senior technicians. Additionally, the technician will package rolls and obtain raw materials and packaging supplies.

Production Technicians Responsibilities:
• Follow instructions and work under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
• With oversight, set up and operate machine for advanced composite materials
• Escalates equipment and production issues by notifying Lead/Supervisor
• Understand how to check for defects on the line
• Hourly checks of the machine
• Review/understand the quality process and identify quality issues with senior oversight.

Production Technicians Requirements:

Pre-Stage:
• Operate scanner gun to pick and rotate finished goods.
• Obtain Pick Tickets from the Shipping office with customer order details.
• Pick, scan, and build pallets for customer orders, ensuring accurate quantities.
• Label pallets with order information and place them in the staging rack.
• Complete and submit Load Chart and Pick Ticket, ensuring legible and accurate counts.
• Follow any special instructions, such as using corner boards or shrink wrapping.

Load Trucks:
• Perform pre-inspection of trailers for cleanliness, damage, and temperature.
• Load pallets onto trucks using a forklift, verifying quantities from the Pick Ticket.
• If items are missing, retrieve from the warehouse and scan using the scanner gun.

Rotation:
• Use scanner gun to place and rotate finished goods in the warehouse.
• Review the Production Schedule to manage warehouse space and rotate inventory based on FIFO.

• High School graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution preferred.
