We are seeking a versatile and hardworking Prep Cook/Dishwasher (Floater) to join our team at a busy cafeteria. In this role, you’ll contribute to food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and assist with dishwashing as needed. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a variety of kitchen tasks.

- Prep Cook Duties:
- Prepare ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and portioning, to support meal production.
- Follow recipes and ensure food consistency and quality.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining kitchen inventory.
- Dishwashing Duties:
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize kitchenware and utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish area and restock clean items as needed.
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Rotate between prep cook and dishwashing tasks based on daily kitchen needs.
Requirements:
- 6-8 months of recent experience in food preparation or dishwashing (experience in both is a plus).
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and switch between tasks seamlessly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Reliable and punctual, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to perform a variety of kitchen-related tasks as needed.
- Food handling card required
