The Facilities Maintenance position will plan, establish, implement, and maintain all aspects of plant maintenance for all company facilities. This position will work closely with the continuous improvement team and will understand the manufacturing process to execute the long-term strategic plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, mid-level management experience and knowledge of the manufacturing industry.

Position Responsibilities:

• Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building.

• Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.

• Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed.

• Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixtures and receptacles.

• Repair equipment and various machines and appliances.

• Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work.

• Make recommendations on additional repairs when identified and needed. 

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate is required.

• Two (2) years' experience in the food manufacturing industry and firsthand knowledge of machinery, production, and maintenance processes required. • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and accurately is required.

• Two (2) years previous experience with maintenance related parts and equipment is required. • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

• Ability to obtain a forklift certification

• Previous knowledge of the following programs and regulations pertaining to a food processing plant is preferred:
