A baler operator is responsible for:

  • Operating machinery to compress and bale materials such as cardboard, paper, and textiles for recycling or disposal.
  • Monitor the machine’s performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure the bales meet quality and safety standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining the baling equipment in good operating condition and performing minor repairs and adjustments as needed
  • Operate a Front End Loader to push material from tipping floor onto conveyor belts.
  • Operate forklift to remove bales from baler floor to store in cleaning area. 

Shift: 6AM-5:30PM Daily OT is required

Schedule: Monday – Friday with Saturdays

    • Help identify potential problem receivables
    • Assist collections when necessary
  • Human Resources
    • Process/assist with processing semi-monthly payroll in Paychex
    • Benefit administration/assist (medical, dental, Simple IRA, FSA)
    • Workers compensation reporting per pay period
  • Month End
    • Assist with month end close
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses
